Feed Our Jurong Island Dogs
Together with Noah’s Ark Cares, SOSD runs a Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage programme on JI. With 200 dogs in our JI shelter and another 150 strays that we feed, feeding the dogs on JI is quite a feat. Just for JI alone, SOSD needs to fork out an average of $5000 each month, even after huge discounts from suppliers.
Due to strict regulations on the island, members of the public are not allowed to feed the stray dogs. Thus, it falls back fully on our staff to go around the island to feed them on a daily basis, rain or shine.
The best way you can help us is by contributing towards the cost of feeding these 350 dogs.
We hope to raise $20000, to cover the food cost expected to be incurred from January to March. Please donate if you can, and help us share the message with your friends and family. Thank you!
