Personality: America is a cute little girl who warmed up fairly quickly with us. Once she warms up, she’s very affectionate and would ask for head rubs. However, she can be quite sensitive when we touch her paws. America is gaining confidence walking on leash, and we believe she would be ready for adoption very soon. However, as she seems to be quite sensitive with her paws, her adopters need to be patient to bond with her and to interact with her within her comfort level. America is also currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, and will need activity restriction for the next few months.
