Personality: Flapper was rescued as a puppy and has lived on Jurong Island since.
Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, and will need long-term management of his condition, to ensure a good quality of life and the most ‘normal’ lifespan of a dog possible. He has been doing great so far, with a vet-prescribed diet and regular fluid injections, and is as happy and healthy as can be.
Due to his condition, we had tried to search for suitable fosterers for him a couple of years back. He went to two homes, but had displayed separation anxiety, which the fosterers could not manage.
We hope as he is slightly more mature now, that his separation anxiety would not be as bad. So here we are, trying again.
